A team from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) recently participated in the prestigious international conference “Human–AI Synergy for Effective English Language Teaching of Science Communication in a Multidisciplinary, Multicultural Context”, held from November 21–23, 2024, at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

The conference brought together educators, researchers, and professionals from 13 countries to explore innovative approaches to integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into education and science communication.
The AUCA team—comprising Dr. Natalia Korosteleva, Associate Professor of the Business Administration Program (SEBA), and Ekaterina Kombarova, Deputy Director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology—presented their experience incorporating AI tools into the Business Communication course. Their presentation offered practical insights and actionable recommendations for educators worldwide.
The team emphasized the importance of collaboration between AUCA's academic programs and the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology to thoughtfully and effectively integrate AI into the educational process.
The conference featured a wide range of presentations and discussions, highlighting topics such as academic integrity in the AI era, generative AIs in learning and providing feedback, AIs in cross-cultural and professional contexts, and other topics.
The AUCA team also actively participated in the strategic session with representatives of leading Russian universities and high-tech IT companies, held on November 20 within the framework of the Pre-Conference Day.
